If you’re a brand that sells its products in retail outlets around the world, it can be difficult to monitor how your message is conveyed across all of their various advertising campaigns. Often times, your brand can be misconstrued or inefficiently marketed, leaving to sub-optimal sales.

With Doorboost however, brands are now able to work with thousands of retailers to create campaigns and distribute them across all of their individual accounts. Their solution has combined their industry knowledge with software assisted services and automated software features, all merged into one interface.

How much is Doorboost doing in MRR?

Doorboost generates revenue from software subscriptions, an advertising budget take-rate, and professional services. According to CEO Johannes Herzer, approximately half of the company’s revenue is attributed to professional services at this point in time, while their SaaS solution continues to grow.

Today, Doorboost serves 6 brands with 3k dealerships and charges them upwards of $2.5k per month for access to their platform. The company is currently doing $75k in MRR and has nearly tripled in the last 12 months. Herzer noted that the company was doing just $300k in ARR last year at this time.

What is Doorboost’s CAC?

In terms of customer acquisition, Doorboost spends between $3,500 and $4,000 to acquire a new trial customer. Thus far, the company has successfully converted all of their pilots into paying customers on annual contracts and is receiving payback within 3 months.

In terms of churn, Doorboost has not lost any enterprise customers yet. Founded in 2014 as a cross channel advertising platform, the company has not churned any new customers since transitioning to their current business model 2 years ago.

How much has Doorboost raised?

Doorboost has grown to impressive scale with just $500k raised to date and is currently profitable. Going forward however, Herzer explained that the company is looking to raise $3.5M at a valuation between $12M and $15M to drive additional growth.

The company’s team of 5 full-time employees is split between Germany and New York.
