Convertri is a pure-play SaaS platform that bills its customers on both an annual and monthly basis. According to CEO Andy Fletcher, the average customer pays them around $69 per month at this point in time.
Among the 1k total customers they serve today, roughly 300 are taking advantage of their annual plan while the remaining 700 are on monthly subscriptions. Overall, the company is doing around $45k in MRR right now and has grown 50% year over year.
Lifetime plans have also been a huge source of revenue for Convertri, as the business offered a life-long license for $297 and marketed across their network of hundreds of affiliates. This deal netted them 2,300 customers and $750k in top-line revenue within five days. Fletcher explained approximately 700 of these customers were also upsold to a premium, monthly subscription.
What is Convertri’s churn?
Serving the SMB space, Convertri has experienced substantial churn to this point. Fletcher dove into the details behind this attrition and shared that a majority of this churn comes within three months of acquisition. Today, the business is exhibiting 15% gross logo churn per month.
In terms of landing new deals, the company spends around $3k each month on digital advertising efforts. Across all channels, Convertri’s blended CAC comes out at around $50, with the company receiving payback within the first month.
How much has Convertri raised?
Launched in October 2015, Convertri has grown to scale with just $80k in funding from Fletcher himself. Overall, the company has no interest in raising capital at this point in time and feels confident that their current strategy will take them to $1M in MRR.
